Metering Station and a close coupled double regulating valve. It is normally fitted in the return line of the system, however, it will perform equally well in the flow section of pipe work. The metering station, containing an orifice is fitted with test points so that the pressure drop across the orifice can be measured. This pressure drop is relative to a flow which has been determined by practical testing.
